Universal Studios - Wizarding World of Harry Potter

November 17, 2017

So I work for Disney, BUT I have been obsessed with Harry Potter for as long as I can remember. So you know I have an annual pass for Universal and spend as much time as I can there because this place is seriously amazing.
The Leaky Couldron has the BEST chicken sandwich and french fries, and you really feel like you're in the books. The themeing is unbelieveable.
And of course, I have to admit that I have always had a HUGE crush on Fred Weasley (I don't want to talk about Deathly Hallows so don't even bring it up) so I always have to check in to see how the joke shop is doing!
I could seriously just sit in the middle of Diagon Alley all day because there's so much to see! I feel like I find new things every time I'm there.
Then of course you have to go to Kings Cross Station to take the train to Hogsmead!
The themeing and attention to detail in both lands in something you need to experience at least once in your life. Visiting Hogsmead even made my mom a Harry Potter fan!
And as if it couldn't get any better, both lands are getting a huge Christmas overlay this year! Complete with a projection show and everything! So keep an eye out for a post about that as soon as I can get a day off to see it for myself!

Disney College Program: Apartment Tour

August 23, 2017

Well I'm finally officially living in Florida again! I checked in to my college program on Monday and I think I'm pretty much done unpacking, so I wanted to share my apartment with you guys!
Kourtney and I unfortunately got split from the other girls we wanted to live with, so we're in a 1 bedroom 3 person apartment in Patterson Court. Which kinda sucked at first BUT a 3rd roommate never moved in so it's pretty nice.
(I picked out this tapestry on Society6 but bought it on Amazon for A LOT cheaper)
We still have some decorating that we can do, but my goal was to make it more home-y than the apartment I lived in on my last program, and it's already a lot better than that!
We have two vanities; mine is in the bathroom and Kourtney's is in our room. Our bathroom has a door to our bedroom and a door to the rest of the apartment. Which is going to make getting ready in the morning so much easier!
Unfortunately we did get bunk beds, Kourtney took the bottom bunk and hasn't decorated yet but we have plans to make it look really cute. Hopefully that top bunk will stay empty for a while though.
Here's my side of the room! My bedding is from Target and I made the wall hanging myself (thank you Pinterest!) I barely decorated on my last program and they took the big cork boards out of the apartments, so I love how it turned out!
And obviously I had to bring Eleven with me! Also my bedside table will probably never be this neat again so I needed to post what it looks like now.
Overall I love living in Patterson, it's a lot more quiet than Chatham was and the apartment is honestly really nice.
And the pool is BOMB.

How early is too early to decorate for Halloween? Let me know in the comments!

Birthday Weekend in New York!

July 30, 2017

Hey guys, so my birthday was last week and I'm officially 22! Which is super weird, and also not as fun as 21, but I spent my birthday weekend with one of my best friends in New York City eating ALL the food and taking countless Instagram pictures.
I may not have gotten tickets to see Brendan Urie in Kinky Boots but I saw him basically everywhere I went so that made up for it.
We didn't do many super "touristy" things but I did get to live out my Gossip Girl dreams on the steps of the MET and a rooftop bar!
Friday we ate outside in Little Italy after walking basically everywhere we could in the city. Saturday we went to Brooklyn for Smorgasburg and ate these bomb mozzarella sticks that I am still drooling over.
This weekend was the perfect little pre-move getaway that I needed. Now it's back to the reality of working my last shifts at the mall and packing!
